Asia Strategic
Advisory Partners (“ASAP”) is an investment and financial advisory
services firm, providing high value added advisory services for
merger and acquisition, corporate and debt restructuring, private
placement of debt and equity capital and leveraged buy-outs.
ASAP’s focus is on serving Asian clients seeking access to US and
international capital markets, and international clients seeking
access to Asian strategic partners and capital sources.
The ASAP team, led by Chairman Randall Cox, represents a century of
cumulative international business experience, including roles as
successful entrepreneurs, CEO-level executives, global industry
association leaders and financiers. The team members represent over
US$20 billion in cumulative transaction experience.
As senior management for major public companies and institutional
private equity funds, the ASAP team members have been involved as
principal in transactions totaling over US$2.0 billion in the
telecoms, financial services and other industries. The ASAP team
members have additionally acted as advisor in M&A transactions
totaling over US$10 billion in the telecoms, media, communications,
power generation and distribution, entertainment, hospitality and
financial services industries.
The team members are experienced in sovereign debt and privatization
transactions, including managing mandates to privatize or raise
international debt for over 15 major state-owned emerging markets
infrastructure entities, ranging from ports, telecom licenses and
operating companies, power generation and other facilities,
resulting in gross proceeds over US$15 billion.

Randall Cox - Chairman
Mr. Cox is founder and Chairman of Asia Strategic Advisory Partners,
Managing Director of Pacific Alliance, a US based investment banking
firm, and Founder and Principal of Coxinvest, a private investment
and advisory firm working with high net worth individuals in the US.
An 18-year veteran of Asia, Mr. Cox has extensive experience as a
financial investor and as CEO of operating companies in the finance,
media, entertainment and technology businesses. Mr. Cox has served
as Director for numerous public and private companies in the
finance, media, entertainment and technology industries.
As Managing Director of Lombard Asian Private Investment Company (“LAPIC”),
a US$250 million Hong Kong based private equity fund associated with
CalPERS and the Asian Development Bank, Mr. Cox held a lead role in
one of Asia’s most successful private equity transactions – the
restructuring and turn-around of Ssangyong Securities (subsequently
renamed Good Morning Securities) in Korea in 1997 – yielding LAPIC a
profit of over US$150 million, a 7x return on investment, upon its
sale in 2001. As an active Board and Excom member of Good Morning
Securities, Randall oversaw corporate strategy and implementation of
corporate governance practices.
Amongst his operating roles, Mr. Cox was President of Yes Television
Asia, a wholly owned subsidiary of leading interactive television
software and services company Yes Television Plc., and co-Founder
and Managing Director of a Hong Kong based boutique investment bank
responsible for over US$600 million in cross border M&A
transactions.
As a successful investor for his own account, Mr. Cox has extensive
experience in cable television, content creation and licensing,
restaurant and club ownership and operation, property and mutual
fund management.
Born in California, Mr. Cox has a BA from the University of
California, San Diego and an MBA from the University of California
Marshall School of Business.
Manager Partner,
Mehmet Narin in 1997, set up United Asian Holdings Ltd. in China,
this company laid a founding stone of his second phase of career. He
devoted his brainstorm in urban design and city furniture, with
which the brand
Qumbet™ was built up to cater
the needs of urban decoration and outdoor advertising sectors in
China. Qumbet™ soon becomes his key business, and the Shanghai
Project was considered a groundbreaking one. The Ministry of China
Post honored this work as a Pilot Scheme and Pilot Work.
Mr. Narin start
to develop his interest in Finance industry in 2003, he further
engaged in project development with investment banks and private
equity funds that majored its interests in Turkey and Asia markets.
Mr. Narin was the founding partner of Asia Strategic Advisory
Partners. The notion of Asset Management Company was pioneered in
Turkish market by Mehmet Narin. Savings Deposit and Insurance Fund
of Turkey established her first AMC for None Performance Loans
consequently.
